Written and directed by the son of Alfonso Cuarón (Children Of Men, Y Tu Mamá También, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban), Ano Una is a charming coming-of-age love story set in Mexico. First timer Eireann Harper plays the pretty Molly, a 21-year-old American student holidaying in Mexico where she becomes the object of affection for Diego (Catano), a horny 14-year-old boy whose family Molly stays with. Molly returns to New York, only to be followed by Diego... Ano Una promises to be a sweet love story that (shock, horror) treats young love seriously instead of poking fun at it. Kudos Jonás.
