White Chicks
- Director:
- Starring: Jaime King
- Details: US / 97 mins (12's).
I never thought I would have to write these words, but the only person I can imagine even remotely enjoying this movie is Michael Jackson. A tale of two black FBI agents who impersonate a pair of white Paris Hilton-a-like socialites at a Hamptons high society weekend, White Chicks is a dead dog of a film. And I'm talking Rowdy - the stuffed mutt from around the back of the couch in Scrubs, who stinks.
The Wayans siblings are the anti-Coen Brothers, infamous for unfunny parodies such as Scary Movie and Don't Be A Menace to Society While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood. Their run of form continues here - the premise is unsupportable, the acting is amateurish and the gags are crude, blatant, few and unfunny. White Chicks seems to think it's a parody of MTV's The Simple Life, but that's a case of the myopic pot looking in the mirror and imagining itself white. Don't do it.
