Four simultaneous tales, following the fortunes of movie wannabes Burrows, Hayek et al as they converge on a director's office, are told by way of a four-way split screen technique. It sounds migraine-friendly but Mike Figgis has constructed a very watchable tale that can only benefit from repeat viewings.
