The Last September
- Rating:

- Director: Deborah Warner
- Starring: David Tennant
- Details: Ire / 104 mins / (15PG).
Against the backdrop of the War of Independence, Sir Richard (Gambon) and Lady Myra (Smith) hold court to a motley crew of ill-fated Anglo-Irish Protestants. Director Warner struggles to intertwine complex narratives but the overall impression is that of a stilted literary adaptation that never really escapes from its stifling sense of ennui.
