** PREVIEW **
Being a massive John Cusack fan, I groaned when I heard there wasn't going to be a preview screening for Martian Child. Cusack plays Davis, a recently widowed science fiction writer who is finding times hard without his wife. In an effort to feel more grounded, David, with close friend Harlee (Peet), adopt 6-year-old Dennis (Coleman), who claims that he's from Mars, of all places. Passing it off as childish imagination, the couple are forced to take Dennis's claims more seriously when strange occurrences keep happening. Martian Child is based on the award-winning short story by David Gerrold, and is brought to the screen by Max helmer Menno Meyjes.
