Journey To The Centre Of The Earth 3D ***
** Preview **
Jules Verne's classic novel gets another makeover but before you can say 'Time Machine' know that this one is in 3D. 3D has seen a new lease of life lately with U2, Beowulf, A Nightmare Before Christmas and (even) Hannah Montana enjoying success at the box office and what better way to reinvent this old story? Fraser plays a discredited scientist who, when exploring with his nephew (Hutcherson), finds a cave that leads down into the bowels of the earth where they discover a lost universe. The PG rating might lighten the darkness a tad too much but who cares? - this is in 3D!
