PREVIEW

TV series Planet Earth gets the feature treatment from directors Fothergill and Linfield. Flicking back between the stories of three animals - a polar bear, an elephant and a humpback whale - and their attempts to survive in their environments, Earth is a celebration of this planet and a gorgeously-shot documentary. Using state of the art technology to reveal the behaviour of rarely-observed animals and mammals, the documentary claims to have unique footage of animals in their habitat. For those who liked Baraka and Deep Blue, Earth could be a joyful hour-and-a-half in the cinema and the narration of Patrick Stewart would warm the cockles of any heart.
