PREVIEW
Nanzeen (Chatterjee), a beautiful young Bangladesh woman, arrives in 1980s London for an arranged marriage with the middle-aged Chanu (Kaushik). Although she hates being stuck in her London flat and trapped in a loveless marriage, Nanzeen keeps her head down and gets on with life. However, her life takes a different turn when Karim (Simpson) arrives at her door one day. An emotional drama that tugs the heart every-which-way, Brick Lane, adapted from Monica Ali's best-selling novel, is not a film that promises to leave you with a smile on your face. Rumour has it that the performances are some of the best to grace a screen in years.
