The first question is: who came up with a title that ridiculous title? That'd probably be either director Oxide Pang Chun or Danny Pang when they were helming the original Thai version in 1999. Fair enough - it probably sounded better as a foreign language. The original was the story of a deaf, mute hitman and his partner, and this American version stars Nicolas Cage as a hitman who falls for a local woman and becomes friends with his errand boy while on a job in Bangkok.
