The western is dead? Don't tell Ed Harris, who returns to take control behind the camera for the second time after his debut with Pollock in 2000. He and Mortensen play cowboys who are hired by the townsfolk of Appaloosa to rid it of the dastardly Marshall Jack Bell (Irons).
