Diane Lane plays an unfulfilled, thirty-something wife taking stock of her life against the backdrop of Woodstock and the first moon landing, while mean 'n' moody hippy Viggo Mortensen lurks in the background. An engaging if lightweight tale, A Walk on the Moon boasts convincing performances and admirable fidelity to period detail.
