A bizarre offering from director Linklater, the erstwhile patron saint of all things slacker. Bizarre in a good way, though: Linklater blends live action material with animation, and sets his characters a-musing on life, the universe and - oh yes! - everything. A fantastic exploration not only on a philosophical level, but also on where the parameters of movie-making begin and end.
