The Recruit
- Rating:

- Director: Roger Donaldson
- Starring: Al Pacino
- Details: US / 115 mins (12PG).
Post-nine eleven, a new approach to America's security is required. So veteran CIA man Burke (Pacino) recruits computer whizz Clayton (Farrell) in order to radicalise the agency's approach to dealing with bad guys. The chemistry between the two leads is what keeps The Recruit ticking over; the story is so naive as to defy belief.
