The Mexican

Inept crook Jerry (Pitt) is despatched to Mexico to work off a favour to his mobster boss, where things screw up, but not before Jerry's long-suffering girlfriend Samantha (Roberts) is kidnapped by a hitman (Gandolfini). The Mexican is an amiable, enjoyable comedy, with Pitt and Roberts playing it downbeat, but it's Gandolfini who steals the show as the sensitive gay hitman.
