The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

The second instalment of the middle-earth epic suffers from a necessity to set up the third and final instalment, but it's a thrill-a-minute swords-and-sorcery romp from start to finish (particularly the finish). Plus, they even found it in themselves to lighten the mood a little.
