The unluckiest of unlucky men, Bernie Lootz (Macy) is employed by casino-owner Baldwin to 'cool' the streaks of winning players - all Bernie has to do is touch them. Then, a break - Bernie meets waitress-hooker Mario Bello.... A funny/sad moral fable in which the acting is top drawer.
