The Amityville Horror
- Rating:

- Director:
- Starring: Jesse James
- Details:
A pretty couple looking for a bigger place find their (her) dream house at a steal. The catch, one year previously a family was murdered there. Not that this puts our handsome ex-soap stars off setting up home, after all "houses don't kill people, people kill people". A gratuitous sex scene, interrupted by some gruesome sightings, and an imaginary friend later and it turns out maybe houses can drive people to murder after all. Dead children luring the living, red balloons, blood from taps and other clichéd scares abound. If you're sensitive about supernatural things or toned torsos then this stylishly jumpy Hollywood horror should do the trick, for the rest of us, it's not much of a treat.
