The 25th Hour
- Rating:

- Director: Spike Lee
- Starring: Barry Pepper
- Details: US / 134 mins / (18).
Convicted on drugs charges, Monty (Norton) has 24 hours to kill before going to prison for seven years. Navel-gazing and self-recrimination are to the fore, but Lee never allows sentimentality to cloud Monty's awareness of how he has arrived at this point, having largely wasted his life. Norton is in sublime form.
