Hollywood invades idyllic Americana in Mamet's biting (and very funny) satire of the movie-making business. The strong ensemble cast repay the sharp script in spades, although the kudos go to Hoffman as the idealistic writer undone by commercial concerns. A treat for anyone who loves movies and movie making.
