Shallow Hal
- Rating:

- Director:
- Starring: Gwyneth Paltrow
- Details: US / 113 mins (12PG).
Style fascist Hal (Black) only dates beautiful women until a self-help guru helps him find inner beauty, with the result that Hal starts dating his boss' obese daughter (Paltrow). A subtler offering than the Farrelly brothers' usual gross-out shenanigans, Shallow Hal is quietly humorous and is arguably the most interesting film the brothers have made yet.
