Shadow Of The Vampire
- Rating:

- Director: E. Elias Merhige
- Starring: Cary Elwes
- Details: US / 90 mins (15PG).
Set during the shoot of Nosferatu (1921), this fantastical tale suggests that director Murnau (Malkovich) allowed real-life vampire Schreck (Dafoe) to feed on various extras in order to complete his horror masterpiece. The complex tale boasts superb performances from the two leads and poses questions of the viewer that are genuinely unsettling.
