Sahara
- Rating:

- Director:
- Starring: Matthew McConaughey
- Details: US / 124 mins (12A).
An adventure romp made in the same mould as the old Saturday afternoon matinees, Sahara finds explorer Dirk Pitt (McConaughey) battling a vicious African dictator in the sands of West Africa while searching for a lost Civil War battleship. It's Indiana Jones-lite material, but it's good, harmless fun all the same, and McConaughey makes for an acceptably square-jawed hero.
