As the 15 certificate suggests, this remake of the classic '70s hell-on-a-field sports anarchy just doesn't push the boat out far enough. The actual violence is well choreographed, if a little too slickly presented, but the attempts to align the ultra-violent sport of Rollerball with a political message fall flat.
