Pokemon 3: The movie
- Rating:

- Director:
- Starring: Eric Stuart
- Details: US and Jap/ 90 mins / (G)
Although it's ever so fashionable for critics to feign ignorance at some animated features, I can honestly say that I lost track of what was going on about midway through this, the latest installment of the Pokemon franchise. Adhering strictly to the gaudy formula applied in the previous big and small screen outings, Pokemon 3 sees young trainer Ash Ketchum going to the once beautiful mountain area of Greenfield. There he and his mates encounter an ancient and dangerous Pokemon known as the Unknown, which they must defeat. Like its predecessors, there are two features here which make up the running time of Pokemon 3, and while the plot of the first is equally nonsensical, it's unlikely to bother the ready-made audience of pre-teens, desperate for yet another slice of the action.
