Pacino never gets out of second gear in this gimmicky thriller which lacks purpose or passion. He's a PR man whose best days are behind him and he knows it. His involvement with his last star client (Ryan O'Neill - why?) inadvertently leads Mr PR to witness a murder. Slow moving and cumbersome, People I Know rarely threatens to engage on a level beyond mildly interesting.
