A slow-burning thriller. Small-town sheriff Washington pockets the proceeds of a drug bust in order to spend time with his terminally-ill lover only to be accused of murder. More of a character-based mood-piece than a thrills 'n' spills whodunnit, Out of Time is a downbeat, quiet affair.
