With 'City of God' reaping rave reviews, it appears South American cinema is where it's at right now. This tale of two Argentinean conmen, told over the course of a single day, boasts excellent performances, super-smart cinematography, and a diamond-sharp script that piles twist upon tortuous twist and still manages to be funny.
