Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World
- Rating:

- Director: Peter Weir
- Starring: Paul Bettany
- Details: US / 138 mins / (12PG).
1805. When his ship is damaged by a surprise attack by a French warship, Captain Aubrey (Crowe) decides to turn the tables and become the hunter. Superb in its authenticity, riveting in its psychological warfare, Master and Commander is not the swashbuckling epic we had been led to expect, but it is a better film for all that.
