Kissing Jessica Stein
- Rating:

- Director: Charles Herman-Wurmfeld.
- Starring: Jennifer Westfeldt, Heather Juergensen, Toyah Feldshuh.
- Details: US / 94 mins (15PG).
It's not exactly screwball, but this light comedy about a woman (Westfeldt) who decides to dip a toe in lesbian waters (!) after a series of disastrous dates certainly generates laughs. Happily, director Herman Wurmfeld steers a course between right-on sexual politics and the recycling of old cliches about gay lifestyles. Funny and warm.
