The Bride (Thurman) wakes from a coma after surviving an assassination attempt, and takes off in pursuit of the eponymous Bill (Carradine). Cue revenge, violence, gore - but where's the heart? Kill Bill is a film that glorifies not just violence, but the individual. The sad thing is, Tarantino doesn't intend this film as a condemnation of the culture that spawned it.
