K19 The Widowmaker

K19 The Widowmaker

  • Rating: K19 The Widowmaker rated 2
  • Director: Kathryn Bigelow.
  • Starring: Harrison Ford, Liam Neeson, Peter Sarsgaard.
  • Details: US / 138 mins (12PG).

1961. A Russian nuclear-powered submarine sets off on its maiden voyage, but events turn sour when a crewman finally realises Indiana Jones is at the helm. Competently made, and with a strong cast on board (sorry.), K19 has all the requisite elements for a classic submarine tale. Whether that's good or bad news is up to you.
