Based very loosely on Isaac Asmiov's robot stories, I, Robot has Will Smith tracking down the killer of a scientist who played a seminal role in robotics. There are allusions to the dangerous development of artificial intelligence and a rise in robot consciousness, but for the main part this is a sci-fi slam-bang shoot-'em-up. Great visuals, but a disappointing script.
