Hard-hitting account of the Rwandan genocide, told from the perspective of Paul Rusesabagina (Cheadle), a Hutu hotel manager who cannot turn his back on the Tutsi refugees who flock to his (initially) UN-protected hotel. Superb performances from Cheadle and Okonedo lie at the heart of this tragic tale, with Nolte offering support as a grizzled UN colonel.
