Four brothers come home to bury their adoptive mother and while they are at it, decide to avenge her death. One of the brothers is a business man who has gotten himself into trouble with local gangstas, another is in a rock band, the other is a hardened career criminal and the third is a soldier. That's pretty much it in a nutshell. Things quickly descend into no-brainer action film mode with a weak script and unsurprising surprises. You'll get the odd chuckle and the cast seem to be having a ball together, however, there is nothing here to justify the 109 minutes required to get to the designated ending. The acting is fair enough, but the rest is an insult to audience intelligence. At least it is an improvement on Singleton's last offering 2 Fast 2 Furious.
