While similar to Good Will Hunting, Finding Forrester has a quirky charm all of its own that is mainly due to Brown's superb debut as the basketball scholarship kid who forges an unlikely friendship with Connery's eccentric, reclusive writer. Connery too turns in an excellent performance and this is top-notch feel-good material.
