Evelyn
- Rating:

- Director: Bruce Beresford
- Starring: Aidan Quinn
- Details: US / 90 minutes / (12PG).
Bond goes begorrah! Sort of. In this distinctly Oirish production, Brosnan plays the wronged father whose kids are taken away from him after their mother leaves. With the aid of some serious legal sorts - Quinn, Bates, and Rea - he embarks on a groundbreaking case. Dripping in sentiment, Evelyn is framed in such a sense of dewy-eyed nostalgia and Irish mysticism that its upbeat message becomes difficult to stomach.
