Kidnapped teacher Basinger manages to resurrect a mangled cellular phone (and her career) to contact the outside world in this modest thriller. The story is one-dimensional but it does contain enough twists and turns to sustain the tension, with the always watchable William Macy stealing the show as an offbeat cop.
