Asian superstar Kitano makes his first mark in Hollywood with this superior chop-socky flick. Arriving in LA after a turf war back home in Japan, Yamamoto (Kitano) goes in search of his drug-dealing half brother and so the chaos begins. Punchy, funny, highly stylised and hugely enjoyable, Kitano's relationship with Epps offers a depth rarely found in action movies.
