Dark, gritty contemporary drama in which taxi-driver Spall experiences the anti-epiphany of realising his wife no longer loves him - on the day his overweight son suffers a heart-attack. A return to form from director Leigh (after the lightweight Topsy-Turvy), with an excellent cast doing justice to a sharp script.
