Biopic of the legendary Greek general, Alexander the Great (Farrell), who led a 'mobile empire' to conquer most of the known world. A risible script and a concentration on domestic affairs to the detriment of action and battle scenes neuters this one, while Farrell's performance fails to convey the necessary god-like charisma.
