Hawaii vet Sandler meets short-term amnesiac Barrymore and must woo her anew each time they meet. The (sub)standard Sandler gross-out routine is present and incorrect, but a superb performance by Barrymore makes the whole thing work. A feel-good, funny romantic comedy.
