Slacker dude Hylnur (Gudnason) manages to impregnate both his girlfriend and his mother's new lesbian lover (Abril) somewhere in the middle of a dope-befuddled haze. An Icelandic bohemian comedy of manners (!), 101 Reykjavik features deadpan humour and some scintillating performances, not least of which is Abril's turn as - yes, you've guessed it - a lesbian Spanish dance teacher.
