Mark Ruffalo And Scarlett Johansson Join John Carney's Latest...
Once and Zonad director John Carney has just bagged a brilliant cast for his new "musical romance project" Can A Song Save Your Life?
According to Screen Daily, one of the most admired actors working today, Mark Ruffalo will star opposite Scarlett Johansson with the former playing a down on his luck record producer who spots the latters singing talents when she travels to New York with her boyfriend to pursue his musical career. The duo have the Marvel action epic The Avengers due out this May, which is widely expected to be one of the biggest movies of the year. Ruffalo is a late addition to the Marvel universe, replacing Edward Norton as The Hulk/Bruce Banner.
Delighted for John Carney, who could've jumped on the Hollywood bandwagon after Once, but instead chose to make (the very funny) Zonad with his mates in Ireland.
